I just listed a collector-grade strand of egg yolk butterscotch Bakelite tesbih (prayer beads) on eBay auction. This is an early hand-carved set in a classic olive / barrel form with beautiful internal marbling and that soft glow that develops from decades of handling.

This strand weighs an impressive 148 grams and measures approximately 55 inches in length. Each bead is about 15 mm long, giving the strand a bold, tactile presence in hand — exactly the type of large, weighty beads that were meant to be handled and used over decades.
