African jewelry and adornment collection.
Significant part of this collection (not all items - please pay attention to descriptions) is originating from the personal estate of African art scholar Roy Sieber and his wife Sophia Sieber, acquired through an estate sale auction. Roy Sieber (1923–2001) was a pioneering historian of African art and longtime professor at Indiana University, known for assembling study collections of traditional African objects during decades of academic research and travel.
