Beautifully ornate large Art Nouveau brooch featuring a deeply faceted hexagonal red glass stone, prong set in an intricate openwork gold-washed brass frame. The swirling foliate design captures the organic curves typical of early 1900s Art Nouveau jewelry. The reverse has a simple C-shaped clasp and extended pin, consistent with turn-of-the-century construction.
