Statement Artisan Carnelian Agate Sterling Silver Open End Lariat Tassel Necklace 62in
A spectacular artisan-made open-ended lariat necklace featuring an abundant assortment of natural carnelian and carnelian agate beads in glowing shades of burnt orange, amber and deep reddish brown.
The exceptionally long beaded strand can be wrapped, knotted or layered in various ways. Each end terminates in an elaborate cascading tassel composed of individually wired faceted beads, polished stone drops, decorative sterling silver cones and botanical-style charms. Oxidized sterling silver spacers and findings provide an attractive antiqued contrast to the warm translucent stones.
The beads display natural variations in color, translucency, internal patterning and inclusions. Several of the larger drops show mottling or subtle banding consistent with carnelian agate and related chalcedony varieties.
A small attached tag is stamped 925 on one side and bears an unidentified, lightly or incompletely impressed maker’s symbol on the reverse. The symbol resembles a stylized V with an underline, although the complete mark cannot be confirmed.
