Exquisite late 19th to early 20th century French crystal perfume bottle mounted in finely cast and mercury-gilded ormolu bronze, dating to the Belle Époque period, circa 1890–1910.

The mount features a high-relief basket of flowers, ribbon bows, tassels, and rope twist borders—classic decorative motifs seen in French vanity and perfume objects of this era. The quality of the casting, hand-chased detail, and warm tone of the gilding are characteristic of true fire-gilded ormolu rather than later brass mounts.

The bottle retains its original faceted crystal stopper with ground shaft. Under UV light, the crystal displays a faint green fluorescence consistent with manganese used as a clarifying agent in period French crystal, confirming age and originality of the glass.

Very good antique condition. No cracks or chips to the crystal. The stopper shows areas of frost-like etchingLight age wear and patina to the ormolu consistent with age. Stopper fits properly. Please see photos for detail.
