Sarda Carved Pink Rhodochrosite Horse Pendant Sterling Silver 925 Statement
A striking Sarda sterling silver statement pendant featuring a round hand-carved pink stone depicting a horse in profile. The stone appears to be rhodochrosite displaying natural shades of rose pink, cream, olive shades of gray and green.
The carving is framed in an ornate sterling silver setting with oxidized scrollwork, openwork details, and a large decorative bail. The reverse is finished with elaborate pierced scrollwork and is signed SARDA 925.
The stone has several visible natural fissures or veins running through the horse carving, shown clearly in the close-up photographs. They appears stable in the setting and add to the natural character of the material.
