The pendant is constructed from a solid piece of white molded art glass. The high-relief portrait silhouette of a classic woman remains pristine white, while the recessed background field features its original matte black enameled stain to create a striking "imitation onyx" cameo effect. The oval plaque is housed in an open-back, textured gold-tone brass bezel rimmed with a delicate, intact border of glossy black glass seed beads.
