Large vintage Tuareg / Berber marabout ring handcrafted in traditional Saharan style. The thick rounded band terminates in stylized opposing animal heads decorated with engraved geometric motifs and circular punch designs typical of Tuareg metalwork.

Provenance: From a group of African objects acquired via estate sale auction from the personal collection of African art scholar Roy Sieber. Documentation supporting this past ownership is available to the buyer upon request (personal information and pricing redacted).

Not cleaned or tested for metal composition. Visibly, it is unlikely made of coin silver alloy and is rather of bronze/brass.
